2 bank vs 4 bank

I don't have very much understanding of the differences in these ECM and the benefits .

Are 97 and 98 mustang cobra /GT ECM's pinned the same ?

If so , what is the bigger difference in a 2 bank and 4 bank tune. was their any advantage in speed ,processing power etc between the two memory standards ?

yes the 96-98 cobra and GTs use the same pin out

the ecus are functionally identical, the newer 98s just have twice as much rom space. For all intents and purposes there is no difference.
