I was wondering if anyone has tried using a known, tried and true MAF transfer function in another engine?
In other words, once you go through all the steps of tuning your MAF transfer function in one engine, what
would happen if you took that MAF along with it's proven MAF Transfer from engine A and installed it into
engine B. How successful do you think you would be tuning engine B if you made it your goal to not change
the MAF transfer? Everything else, hi and low slopes, breakpoints, engine size, fueling, etc you are free to
change but don't touch the MAF transfer! How successful would you be?
Let's just assume for this scenario that the engines are naturally aspirated - keep it simple.
