Need to buy tuner

Unread postby 04turbo4v » Fri Jun 08, 2018 1:16 pm

I have a 2004 mustang GT 5 speed car that I have swapped in a built 4v twin turbo into and I am nearing the point of needing to figure out what I am going to do as far as computer control. I have looked at megasquirt and have also considered using the factory pcm and using a QH. for a setup like mine would you recommend getting a standalone or would the QH allow me to dial this thing in without to much trouble?

I am leaning QH as I am wanting to keep my factory gauges working as well ect.. I assume I could piggyback a megasquirt3 ontop on the factory pcm, leaving the pcm to control the factory gauges ect, but it seems the quaterhorse would be much simpler and less wiring.

Decipha is the man when it comes to tuning. I just had my car tuned by him and I will say never thought it would have been that fast to tune couple steps and I was dialed in. 95 turbo mustang well worth paying him to tune it.
