lugging the car

Unread postby Rick » Mon Feb 19, 2018 9:43 am

been curious, if my ipsibr is good at say close to 0.000, lug the car (slip the clutch, no throttle) ipsibr will shoot right up to over 300%, once the clutch is disangaged, there's huge bucking.

Does that mean I need to re-adjust my idle stop screw to add more air and make it go into the negative? rpm at idle will be over 950

ipsibr is idle correction when u slip the clutch with no throttle its trying to maintain idle so dumping air in to reach idle rpm

if the car bucks that means its not getting enough air

if thats your typical driving then u need to set dasmph to .5 mph and kick up dasmin significantly
