My Moates QuarterHorse has been on my car for about 4 years without any problems. Since the battery life can vary, and isn't guaranteed for any specific time, I tried to replace it, but damaged the connectors. Mainly a dumb move because I was impatient.

I sent Moates my QH for repair. I also asked them to replace it with the new version and crossed my fingers that they would. Well they did send me the new QH version, which has an easy to replace battery. They did this at no charge. They even shipped it to me for free.

I also ordered the F3v2 memory adapter, Jaybird, and the 8 position rotary switch. :D

Props to Moates for taking good care of their customers.

Yes Moates does have exceptional customer relations and customer support. Back when the batteries first started dying due to the wrong resistor every time a car would come to me with a dead battery I would simply swap their QH with one of my spares. So I would usually stop by Craigs and swap out the bad QH batteries once I was out of any usable QHs, well he gave me two extra quarterhorses to swap out for customers cars as they would die so I could reduce my down time but not only that it would make it much faster for people to get back going. Worked out exceptionally well. In fact I probably owe him a few hundred bucks for those QHs as I've never returned them to him lol. Shhh we can keep that between us lol
