Michael, Do you have a bin and xdf file that would work on a 1999 Crown Vic 4.6 car? It has MLC-411 hardware code. Maybe CRAIA?
The current PCM has a catch code ARA1. I haven't been able to round up an xdf companion file for the ARA1.
I read that back in 2012 you did some work with a 99 Crown Vic. Thought you might have something, even though MLC-411 wasn't listed in your hardware codes.

ARA1 is CRAIB. ARA2 is CRAIC. YYA2 is the predecessor CRAI8. I attached it to the CRAI8 files. You can write it and tune it no problem. Both ARA1 and YYA2 have theft disabled from the factory. ARA1 is a 3.55 rear and YYA2 is a 3.27 rear end fyi, no biggie though.

Thanks a bunch. I assume that the CRAI8_230620.xdf is the file to use with the ARA1 bin since it is the only xdf listed?

I was just now looking to see if I did get the adx file.
I'm still several weeks away from a "real time" situation with TunerPro and the Moates QH.
I was also thinking about the PCMFlash software and the Scanmatik to read, write and clone. When I finally receive the Scanmatik, (ordered 9-29 from Kazakhstan and it made it to east Poland by Friday 10-27) to make a clone of my ARA1 PCM, can I read it and then simply write it to the spare '99 Crown Vic PCM that came out of a 99 pass car with PATS originally to make a copy (clone) pcm to experiment with, without any bin switching since it is all only involving the Scanmatik and PCMFlash? They both have the same hardware code. Previously I put together a bench harness to use with the Scanmatik 2 Pro.
In the meantime, I keep reading about disassembly as it has to do with swapping bank order. I know that I will have to know it to swap stuff between the two different systems? Is the Hex Editor Neo adequate? I used the one pictured.

I haven't mentioned that in late November when working with the new QuarterHorse, I read the 1999 CV P71 PCM and I read the file name
in the hexeditor in TunerPro and at the end of thE file read CRAICA8 XW7FCD VINP71W7XX116184.
