Transient fuel GUFX
I am having the exact same symptoms as Dleach but to avoid potentially highjacking his thread any more and considering we use different strats I thought I should start one. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=190
Main issue is going rich when shifting and then lean coming back out of the shift which can cause some hesitation, only when cold. I have also just realized that is does this all the time, OL, CL, and even when up to temp but its not noticeable much at this point. If I'm at a steady cruise and slowly push in the throttle it will climb lean a touch before back to stoich, 1.10 or so. If I do a more aggressive throttle stab it will go a touch rich then come back to lean before getting back to stoich, .9 to 1.10 then back.
I will list below the things I have adjusted in the tune to try to remedy this.
AEM is set to max at 2
Transient accel multiplier is also maxed at 2
Transient decel multiplier is set to 1
Accel enrichment entire table is doubled, if I try to go anymore the car doesnt like it and bucks on a quick throttle stab.
Manifold volume for fast fill and slow fill are both set to 1 which seems to be the max
After being confused at times I am now confident my fuel is well dialed in.
I am looking for suggestions on what else I can try to get this remedied?

Re: Transient fuel GUFX
if you have to max out accel enrichment then you probably have bad injectors.
What injectors do you have and where did you get them from?

Re: Transient fuel GUFX
You have far too much acceleration enrichment fuel which is making up base fuel. You need more transient fuel.
Your kams are jumping around quite a bit too.
Get the maf dialed in and then focus on dialing in the transient fuel table fn1321.

Re: Transient fuel GUFX
ok I'll give this a shot. I read here before that accel enrichment is used for quick throttle movements and transient fuel was for changing loads without throttle movement so thats why I only focused on accel.
can you give any quick pointers on how to dial in the fn1321 table? I assume I'll want to increase the numbers to add in more fuel? is this a table you want to try bigger changes like multiplying by say 1.5 or just smaller increases?
also considering I need more transient fuel why did you set the multiplier back to 1.5 instead of leaving that at 2?

Re: Transient fuel GUFX
Ok I do now see where you changed that table. I am not sure if you worked some other magic in there somewhere that I havent noticed yet but so far the issues I was having are completely gone! If not it seems like a fluke because I know I have tried the A9L2 transient settings, its what I started with.
One thing I did think was odd is after loading the latest tune I had to open my throttle stop a bit?
Also like you mentioned my maf transfer needed adjusting but as usual its still fucking with me?! Driving it for a while yesterday after loading the tune it was adding a bunch of fuel, up to 10% in some spots. I worked it for a while dialing it in. Well to no surprise this morning driving in to work its pulling that much fuel?! I stopped shut the car off and loaded in the old maf transfer and the damn thing was still pulling fuel after. I'll keep plugging away at it and see what happens. Still really happy the other issues are gone though so THANKS!
I did notice you had the KAM clear patch turned on so it's clearing KAMs every time I shut it down. Should I leave it like that for now or remove that patch?

Re: Transient fuel GUFX
yeah leave it like that til you get it dialed in to make life easier
hence why i created that kam clear patch to only clear kams on engine shut offs as it makes life much easier
