Glowing headers
Over the winter I fixed header leak and added a triple disk converter. First ride out car was bogging and hesitating. Turned out to be a loose intake bolt. Next ride felt perfect. 3rd ride I couldn't get car out driveway. Ipsibr was all over the place, tried to dial it in. Got car able to drive, now passenger headers is glowing red. Check timing with spout out and it at 10degrees.

Re: Glowing headers
If only one bank is glowing, that bank is probably extremely lean. Are your o2 sensors working correctly in both banks? I'm betting one is always reading rich so it's pulling a ton of fuel in that bank

Re: Glowing headers
Thanks for replying. Both headers are glowing and o2 sensor was switching on good test ride. I’ll log again a check when car is acting up. Wide band is within 5% fueling error.

Re: Glowing headers
Lean doesn't cause glowing headers retarded timing does.
Sounds like your distributor is acting up.

Re: Glowing headers
I already swapped factory dizzy for a spare I had and same result. I didn't bypass msd ignition box, I'll try that next. Thanks

Re: Glowing headers
Removed 6al and swapped fuel regulator and car felt back to normal. In fact even better with new converter. Never skipped a beat. Fueling is almost dead on with part throttle pulls. Going to put on drag radials and get some wot pulls. Thanks guys
