Read and Write a Diablosport Chip?
Is there a way to read a diablosport chip using the jaybird. I’ve tried doing it as the write up says, seems to be working but once I open the bin file, it looks like it’s all corrupt. Have done it several times with SCT chips and has work. Is there a difference between them and can the diablosport chip be used to write a tune?

you may have to go the moates site and download the old jaybird firmware
may not work still but worth a shot

I have never been able to read a CMR burnt chip correctly with BURN2 or JayBird. SCT 6600 all day long.

Tried with the old firmware but no luck. I guess the diablosport chip is useless now.

Some of the commercial J3 chip adapters recognise sequential memory access and 'clam up' to prevent copying.

Re: Read and Write a Diablosport Chip?
I know this is an old thread but.... I have a black diablosport chip that I tried to read the tune off the chip with a Jaybird. I tried with the 5.14 and 5.16 firmware from Moates website and I had no luck either.
