Unread postby decipha » Sun Dec 08, 2019 11:59 am

I know most have probably gotten their shit together and went out and did the do already or ordered stuff online. I however have not been able to due to my work schedule and the fact that im stuck 7hrs away in Port Lavaca, Texas.

If anyone has any recommendations for gift ideas I'm all ears. I have the full spew of all ages to gift for; from a 3 month old daughter to an elderly great grand parents.

ALL suggestions are appreciated.

A lot of stores are carrying toys now, in store, in stock! Usually 2-4 isles of them, doesn't really matter if it is a big chain like Walmart, Target, Costco or grocery store like a Kroger affiliate or your local toy/hobby store. That is the biggest change I've noticed this year. IMO Toys R Us going out of business is actually working out for the better for the average consumer, unfortunately it took a couple years for the market to correct itself. Other than that, it is like any other year.

I have always been told the elderly love getting a box full of their favorite snack food type items(obviously non-perishables), especially if they are living on a ss type income. Kind of like a care package. My grandmother (late 80's) has even said this regarding some of her gifts. Warm type clothing also works well for them.
