My take as a layman; Ford needed a way to settle the idle if the car had a small vacuum leak to cut down on warranty or complaints. So the Idle air valve can remove idle air if needed due to "pirate air" getting to the engine. Sort of worked ok on bone stock cars.
Decipha has us set the throttle stop and if we get a vac leak we will fix it, but I don't think his setup will decrease below the base idle.
Ford base idle =450rpm
Decipha base idle =750rpm

He got rid of a bunch a crazy crap we don't need.

where the table reads .172 at 200 degrees engine temp. ( The first pic in this thread. ) That's a set, looks right to me.

Nice!!! I had an 85 f150 which i won the who can go the slowest in 1st gear and 4Low. It had the np435 with about a 6 to 1 first gear. That truck had a small lift kit and 33 inch dunlop mud terrain tires and nice 302 with headers and 4 barrel.

Ya I think slow cruising over rocks it's learning the extra idle load, but that's a wild guess. Sounds like a great truck!

50 lbs/min is is about 500 hp. I think you mean 50 kg/hr... Around idle speed or just off idle?

I was tying to run 5.00.9769.00 and it sometimes has had connection problems I guess.

I know it will take a while but just look at everything. Read the comments as you hover of them. Hopefully the Decipha himself will assist soon.
