Re: Foxbody EEC-V

Here's some info from the writeups page regarding the 4r70w swap and wiring.

Re: Foxbody EEC-V

Do you need to go to eec V to control a 4r70w?. I thought 94/95 mustang CBAZA u4p0 can control a 4r70w? It would be a more simple swap for you too. Decipha had a swap article on one of his supercoupes I believe.

Re: U4PO swap on Bronco II.. Is Evap solenoid needed?

I just want to clarify if I was vague.. I don't want to eliminate the EVAP system. I just want it to be correct in the tune and have the system operating as it should with the ecm upgrade.

U4PO swap on Bronco II.. Is Evap solenoid needed?

Hello everyone. I haven't posted here in a while. I have a question on my evap system requirements because they may need to changed for my current setup. I have a fairly stock 1989 Bronco II with its original 2.9L v6. I did however replace the stock eec with a U4PO running with the U4P2 XDF converted to Sequential injector fire and 05+ MAF. My question I thought recently is about my evap system being controlled slightly different from the stock Bronco configuration vs. the U4PO evap configuration.. The bronco II configuration has no purge solenoid like the 94/95 mustang seems to. it seems this would cause maybe a pirated air leak at times. am i correct about this? And is it recommended to put a purge solenoid from the eec design that I'm using? Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to be thorough.

Re: MOATES -- FYI

Maybe they(Moates) will reactivate the website as an information only site so we can still access the documentation. I know they want out of the business and that is respectable. We all will want to retire some day. But respect for the customers should eventually have them come to a better solution on how to close the doors for good.

Re: MOATES -- FYI

Good thinking if it can be done efloth. Are you talking about trying to write to the eeciv like writing to the eecv? I didn't think it was possible since eeciv doesn't have a data like connection..

Re: MicroSquirt® for 1986-93 Ford 5.0 Mustang?

Question on the 6600. I may have asked in the past but I don't quite remember the answer. Question is having multiple tunes on a single chip. I think the answer was that the adaptives don't like switching tune without being cleared?. Can you switch a tune from the chip and then reset the KAM and then proceed using the new tune?
