i've managed to grab an -sd48B eec now, but now i need to have it run right on a 5.0, consider i think it came from a 351. catch code LAD1 do you have one of your V2 type tunes for this? or at least a stock 5.0 tune that i can tune on the LHBL0 def? that would help set me on the right path. Re: 2001 v8 bin file

I had to take it out for him, he said it burnt through a tank of gas in a couple days, as well as the rpms flaring during each shift, causing weirdness. The log may show the drop in mpg but it wasn't shifting badly then. The idle works fine, it just looks like a couple settings you would do to have ...

it's not running well at all. it seems like it cant go rich enough, even with the maf transfer nearly halved. as well fueling following tip in goes way lean too.

I've attached a 10 second log of it, i can't tell from the dashboard what's going on.

Re: 2001 v8 bin file

went through it for a while. I'm guessing the MAF transfer was too high because it didn't want to start at first. fan works perfectly, A/C is off and does not engage. sped up the dashpot drop a lot, it seems to want to cruise control it at 1100 but otherwise works well now. I'm not sure the dashboar...

Sweet, you have an improved tune for it then? I would compare with the stock bin for those small things but I don't believe I have tunerpro set up to read it correctly. I've got a stock 2001 mustang gt that i'm needing to start tuning. Injector idle tuning

I'm trying to find the largest injectors that will idle fine in the 2.3. A question I was asked is can you tune for the injector dead time/open time?

Has anyone ran 1400cc+ injectors in a 4 cylinder here?

Edit:nvm it's just different terminology.

Re: 4cy 2.3l fox sneaky HP.... tuning 2.3?

Losing weight will be much cheaper than making more power. I'm not sure what the rules are but you can go roller can from early 90's Rangers, head work is huge, rangers have 2.5 strokers, they also have an updated oil pump. Higher compression with a QH will help make the car much more responsive. Al...

Re: 2016 Ecodiesel

I can safely assume I can't fit a quarterhorse lol... I meant obd2

In the case that I do find a tuner, how exactly does sparkless tune? As close as I can tell, it's like a gas engine on alcohol, and gains can be found (since I won't have to smog) by advancing injector time (like you would spark)

the FPR will up the fuel pressure as fast as boost, more boost shouldn't lean it out any. but i did get it up into the 11's. past that, i can not improve it.

Re: A9L on a 2.3L turbo?

it's certainly an upgrade. you'll need a custom 36-1 wheel set up and a cam sensor from a 95 ranger for coil-near-plug or coil pack control, as well as a couple of other things. (i'd recommend it, they make a huge difference from what i've seen.)

does the C1A1 support the knock sensor Decipha?
